Defunding The Police:  A Doctrine Of Demons

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  2 Timothy 3:1-5

The above prophecy by the Apostle Paul to his student, Timothy, speaks of a future end times society, both in the secular and to those in appearance of religiosity, that have turned away from God.  This includes society in general, and an apostate portion of the church that thinks they are following God, but are also instead following the doctrines of demons (1 Timothy  4:1).  Paul describes a world society that we are seeing today; a society in which the results of rejecting the true Word of God, and even God himself, would come about and bring to us these "perilous times"

I want to break down the descriptive terms in verses 2-4 and show the Greek rendering and definition of these terms to show how those anti-police rioters and all levels of government officials fall into, and are part of the bringing about of these prophetical signs of the end times. These are broken down below.

Blasphemers  blasphēmos speaking evil, slanderous, reproachful, railing, abusive

Without Natural affection astorgos inhuman, hard-hearted towards kindred

Truce breakers  aspondos without a treaty or covenant, of things not mutually agreed upon e.g. abstinences from hostilities that cannot be persuaded to enter into a covenant, implacable

Proud  hyperēphanos showing one's self above others, overtopping, conspicuous above others, pre-eminent with an overweening estimate of one's means or merits, despising others or even treating them with contempt, haughty

False accusers  diabolos prone to slander, slanderous, accusing falsely, a calumniator, false accuser, slanderer, metaph. applied to a man who, by opposing the cause of God, may be said to act the part of the devil or to side with him.  a traducer; specially, Satan (compare H7854):—false accuser, devil, slanderer.

Incontinent  akratēs without self-control, intemperate

Fierce  anēmeros  not tame, savage, fierce

Despisers of those that are good  aphilagathos opposed to goodness and good men

Traitors  prodotēs  a betrayer, traitor,

Highminded  typhoō  to blind with pride or conceit, to render foolish or stupid

 

Seattle, Portland, Chicago, and New York are just a few of the more blatant examples of signs of what Paul is speaking of.  In Seattle, the Mayor Jenny Durkan called the terrorist takeover of a downtown section of Seattle a "summer love fest".  In the mean time these New Age utopian hopeful people terrorized the business owners in the area and actually force the police to abandon their precinct in that communist influenced (explained in this article) treasonous takeover of a city where those people declared it their own country and without the government protecting it's own citizens.  Crime was rampant and unaddressed there including rapes and murders.  The Mayor and literally Godless city council actually provided barricades and portable toilets to the terrorists.  Recently this largely God opposing city government has declared they want to cut the police by 50% and outlawed the police use of non lethal weapons like tear gas to be used in riots.  The Seattle Mayor, Jenny Durkan, and Washington State Governor Inslee threatened to sue the United States government if they "interfered" in the riots by protecting the citizens.  About a week after the takeover of downtown Seattle, a reported asked Governor Inslee about it and he said he didn't know that anything like that was going on.  Most people know better.

As an update to the above, the Seattle City Council voted to remove funding from the police department, and cut 100 officers even though this was not the will of a majority of the people.  The Police Chief, Carmen Best resigned after this vote.

In Portland, as of this date that have had about 70 days of rioting (these leaders call it "protesting") that got so bad that the Federal Government had to send in Federal police (not military) to defend Federal property, i.e. the Federal Courthouse.  Both the Governor of Oregon, Kate Brown, and the Mayor of Seattle, Ted Wheeler, threatened the Federal government if they sent Federal police in to protect their own property.  But the Governor did not send in the State Police to assist the Portland Police, nor did the senseless Mayor request it. The Mayor of Portland, Ted Wheeler, attended a recent protest (and was the recipient of tear gas) and praised the rioters for attending.  They actually turned on him because in their demented view, he had not done enough to get rid of the police.

Then, on the night of August 6, 2020, the rioting got so bad that these demonic inspired hoards tried to burn down a Portland Police Precinct building with people in it.  This is attempted murder (Fierce, Incontinent, High minded, Traitors, etc) What these riot approving politicians approved of is now turning on them too and showing the true colors and intent of these groups. Yet, even in Tom Wheeler's message to rioters, his main concern was that their demonic activity was only going to get President Trump re-elected.  Prior to this he and Brown approved of the actions of these traitorous people.  God said that the peoples own sin would come back on them as it did Israel and Judah (Jeremiah 2:19)

Recently one Portland City Council Member suggested (like Minneapolis) to actually disband the Portland Police.

Now how is all this going to work?  It won't.

While these combo BLM / Antifa rioters were burning flags, police effigies and a Bible, they were chanting "Black lives matter".  It is not black lives that matter at all to these people.  As can be seen, it is only the attempt to destroy and nation by bringing about violence, and chaos by removing the wall of protection provided by police, and then removing the right to gun ownership by the people.

Tom Wheeler's message to rioters fell upon deaf ears because on the night of August 7, 2020, they continued to attempt to burn down police buildings and injured officers.

Like in Seattle and the other similar cities and states that profess this demonic message of defunding police by the organization Black Lives Matter, and the Antifa communists (as we will see they are later), all of these, both government and rioters fit into Paul's last days description.

God told Judah

Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the Lord thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord God of hosts.  Jeremiah 2:19

Is what these politicians doing, or really not doing a wicked thing?  As we will see; Yes.  And their sin in removing protection from their own people will come back to bite them.  They will be the recipients of their own evil.

Congress Is No Better

A few days ago there was a "hearing" where Congressional members of the Judiciary Committee were supposed to interview U.S. Attorney General William Barr.  It was the most despicable show of the Democratic Congressional members with their anti police attitudes and attacks I have ever seen.  Barr was immediately attacked at the start by Congressman Jerry Nadler saying Barr was "projecting fear and violence nationwide in pursuit of political objectives", and then saying,  "Shame on you Mr. Barr, shame on you".  Nadler would not let Barr respond, nor would any of the other Democratic congress who attacked him.

No; it is really shame on Congressman Nadler and the others like him because Attorney General Barr sent in more Federal Police to enable the protection of Federal Buildings and U.S. citizens.  In contrast to Nadler's attack on Barr, in reality it is these destructive groups that have "pursuits of political objectives".   A short time ago, Nadler even discounted the existence of Antifa, calling them a "myth".  Like the word of God says below, it is Barr's job to protect as a leader is supposed to, and is the will of God.  However these local, state, and congressional representatives would rather see destruction and chaos.  The ways of these are, in the words of the Bible, demonic.  They do nothing to stop them and everything to approve of them.

Neither party can agree with each other on many things as seen in the past few years.  They have become "trucebreakers" in this as well as their move to defund the police or their silence on this move.

As seen in the below Bible verses, leaders are placed into position by God (most of them would discount the "by God") for the protection and good of the people whom they are supposed to be leaders of.  Governments are supposed to punish those who do evil not ignore nor encourage them, nor deny they are doing what they are doing in destruction and rebellion.  And this means that there must be police to enforce those laws that people who commit acts of evil and to bring them before the courts.  The word also tells us that we should be paying taxes to insure this happens.  But these, at times would claim to know God because they belong to a particular denomination as some Congressional leaders announce, or who do not know God, nor want to know God; and want to take the God commanded funding away.

The Word of God says,

3 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. 15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:  1 Peter 2:13-15

 
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.  2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.  3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:  4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. Romans 13:1-4,6

13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.  14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.  15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.  16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.  James 3:13-18

However, when a government official or officials, rebel against this word of God (and they are), they are no longer rulers that "are not a terrors to good works", but instead support evil and become a terror to good works.  They become "despisers of those who do good" , and even "traitors".  Therefore, this idea of defunding the police (which we are to pay "tribute" to by taxes) is contrary to God and is, in fact, demonic.

Who would want to do such a mentally defunct thing of removing police?  Those who are devoid of the Spirit of God and are following a deluding spirit. Those organizations, mayors, governors, and other leaders of cities, states and legislative leaders that support defunding the police are being influenced by, and following Satan and his desire to destroy that which God said is good.  Their are many of them marching in line with the same agenda.  These want to replace the protection with social workers?  Criminals and terrorist laugh at this it is so demented in rational thinking.  They are trying to create a socialist utopia devoid of God that will never exist.

Are there those within this realm of law enforcement that do evil?  Yes, and they, as individuals should be held accountable.  Are there those in other government areas and even in business that do evil?  Yes; but is there a cry to disband an entire structure?  No, except in the Marxist agenda against Capitalism and our democratic form of government.

Is there a time when God says it is alright to not follow a governmental command?  Yes, but only when it opposes a command of God as when a government tells a people they cannot speak the truth of the Word, nor worship as God commands (as they are doing now by keeping churches shut).  But in this case, these organizations and permissive government leaders wish to dismantle a government system, but not support any thing that has to do with a racial injustice.

To illustrate this, let us take a look at the organization, Black Lives Matter.

Patrisse Cullors, Black Lives Matters co-founder, said in an interview with Jared Ball of the Real News Network: "The first thing, I think, is that we actually do have an ideological frame. Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers. We are trained Marxists. We are super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories. Oh, so this organization has a an ideological framework of Marxism disguised in a front of an emotional cry to help black people who Cullors says the government is trying to destroy.  Is it not Marxism and Communism that has as it's goal to destroy the United States?  Yes.  But in God's realm all lives matter because there are no races.  But this organization does not want to hear this because if you say "all lives matter", they attack you as being against their agenda.  What is the real agenda of this organization?

A definition of Marxism says, the system of economic and political thought developed by Karl Marx, along with Friedrich Engels, especially the doctrine that the state throughout history has been a device for the exploitation of the masses by a dominant class, that class struggle has been the main agency of historical change, and that the capitalist system, containing from the first the seeds of its own decay, will inevitably, after the period of the dictatorship of the proletariat, be superseded by a socialist order and a classless society."  https://www.dictionary.com/browse/marxism

So, Marxism, a man run system devoid of God, wants to dismantle Capitalism and replace it with Socialism where no one owns anything but the State.  One should know that both Karl Marx and Engels were co-authors of "The Communist Manifesto".  This Marxist system is that end goal.  One must ask how these systems are working in Venezuela, North Korea, China, and Russia?  How is their violence working in Seattle, Portland and other cities?

Some Churches And Pastors Are Part Of The Delusion

There are a lot of churches that need to understand and pay attention to what they are doing just to accommodate the culture and be relevant.  Christianity is not allowed in the realm of Communism, and as we see in the Socialist demonic demands of "we can speak, but you cannot" "Cancel Culture" society that is rising in the United States.  In Paul's warning, this comes under the heading of "traitors".  Churches also need to know that this organization also supports the LGBTQ agenda, which many churches cannot see, opposes the Word of God.  This only hurts those who are a part of this lifestyle, taking from them what God would have for them in eternal life.  Those who approve of this lifestyle take this away from them and bring about their own demise because of following this culture (see Genesis 19:1-26, Judges 19 especially vs 22, Deuteronomy 23:17, Leviticus 18:22-25, Deuteronomy 22:5, Romans 1:18-32 especially vss 26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

There are those pastors that say, "Well Jesus did not address homosexuality".  Yes He did.  In John 5:39 we see Jesus telling the disbelieving Pharisees,

 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. John 5:39

It is Jesus who spoke those above verses in the Old Testament that concern homosexuality. And Paul also taught them as seen in Romans and 1 Corinthians.  There are so many pastors who do not know the Word of God.  God told Jeremiah before the destruction of Judah, and it is true today,

Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness. Jeremiah 12:10

Antifa

Now on to Antifa, whom these politicians either support, or like Congressman Nadler and company, actually deny these terrorists exist and actually lie and call riots "peaceful protests".  They are only kidding themselves or are deceivers, as are those in the media who promote this false agenda.  By denying their existence they support them because they do not address them.  A New York Times article said this about Antifa;

Antifa members campaign against actions they view as authoritarian, homophobic, racist or xenophobic. Although antifa is not affiliated with other movements on the left — and is sometimes viewed as a distraction by other organizers — its members sometimes work with other local activist networks that are rallying around the same issues, such as the Occupy movement or Black Lives Matter

I believe the above 2019 protest photo of them shows their affiliation and end goal too.  Note the Communist hammer and sickle symbol on the shield the female is holding.

While not officially designated (yet) as a terrorist organization, they commit acts of terrorism and intimidation and violence to those whom they would disagree with.  They, like all terrorists, use violence and intimidation to try to stop any from opposing their evil communist anti-God agenda.  And as seen recently in Portland; they attempted to kill people inside the police precinct by trying to burn it down with people in it and blocking the doors.  They are terrorists in actions.

Their Movements Will Fail - God Is Providing A Short Window To Change

All of these will eventually lose unless they too see what they are doing (many are just followers and have no idea what they are doing except they enjoy destroying things and violence and do not know history).

While it would "appear" that the government says there is no organized leadership behind what they just call a "movement", there really is; Satan.  It shows in their affiliations and violence alone.  It shows in the numerous politicians engaged in this thing.  And for those who call either of these movements a "love fest", or "peaceful protestors", and fail to take action against them or any other group that advocates taking down a government that actually has given these uneducated persons, they have fallen into a delusion and believe a lie.

However, God is allowing it as a preview of the coming rule of their one world, socialist, and communist agenda that will usher in the anti-Christ.  They and the false church will embrace him until he turns against them too.  Revelation is plain in this; they will end up, not taking a knee to these organizations, and for a short time, the anti-Christ, but as the Word of God says, to Jesus.  For God says;

22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.  23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.  24 Surely, shall one say, in the Lord have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.  Isaiah 45:22-24

Many will say, "Well I don't believe that".  It doesn't matter. Their unbelief will not change what is going to happen.  Unless people recognize that the prophecies of God are being manifested to warn us in this small window of time, then it will not be well for those who continue in their ways.  God does not want this and has provided this open door.  As I said in another article, in God's Kingdom there is no race, nor nationality.  It is one church under the rule of God, not man, that will be coming sooner than we realize.  The signs are becoming evident.

One More Chance

God is giving these demonically inspired and manipulated people in these movements (even the Marxists and guy who burned the Bible) and in government, to turn to God before God's darkness falls on this earth.  Once this prophetical time starts, it will be too late.  It will not be a time to live in.  This also applies to those who have fallen from the faith in Jesus to following the doctrines of demons.  God told Jeremiah

15 Hear ye, and give ear; be not proud: for the Lord hath spoken.  16 Give glory to the Lord your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.

17 But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord's flock is carried away captive.  18 Say unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down, even the crown of your glory.  Jeremiah 13:15-18

These politicians and subversive organizations and supportive churches need to hear these things.

Luke 21 says of this darkness

22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.  23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.  25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.  28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.  Luke 21:22-28

Because these people are so evil, it angers us, and we see their terrible end, it is easy to be like Jonah and not want to do what God told him to do; go to Nineveh and warn them that they would soon be destroyed in 40 days if they did not turn from their evilness.  Jonah despised those people and tried to run away from warning them as God told him to do.  He reluctantly did though and because of his simple message, the city was saved (for awhile). see Jonah 3.  God wants us also to warn these politicians and those who participate in these organizations too.  We are to pray for them.  Even the Marxists?  Yes.  Even Nadler et.al, Wheeler, Brown, Inslee, Durkan and all the other "defund the police" crowd?  Yes.

Paul pointed out to the carnal church at Corinth as a reminder some of them had also formerly been engaged in things opposed to God such as seen above in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.  1 Corinthians 6:11

In addition Paul gave us another reason to warn and pray for them.  He told Timothy;

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;  2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.  3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;  4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4
